At the initiative of think tank leaders gathered in Tbilisi for the 5th European Resource Bank a public statement was made about the current financial crisis.

The document, signed at that point by 38 think tank leaders, is attached below.

Feel free to use it in anyway that would seem appropriate.

This statement is of course not the final word on the cause(s) of the crisis and on what should be done next. But it will help establish the fact that many intellectuals and experts don't share the unfortunately widely spread idea that this crisis is the crisis of capitalism.


Governments made the financial crisis

Precious informatin about the state of Georgian economy can be found in a report was prepared ta year ago which to evaluate what could be the impact of a free tree agreement between the European Union and Georgia.

Between October 9 and 12, 2008 The New Economic School - Georgia (NES) is hosting in Tbilisi, sixteen centuries old capital of Georgia the Fifth European Resource Bank Meeting (ERBM),the largest annual congress of free market think-tanks in Europe.

The aim is to provide participants with unparalleled networking opportunities, as well as with the opportunity to learn and share think-tank methods and techniques that proved to work on liberty's side.

It is essential to the success of a Resource Bank Meeting that all those who could benefit or contribute to it attend. But traveling to Tbilisi is costly and some might decline the invitation in order to save some precious money for their organization.
