As 2009 is the 20th anniversary of the Institute, we will celebrate the event by organizing the 31st Summer University of the New Economics. The summer university will be held in Aix en Provence, France between August 23rd and 26th, 2009. The Summer University in Aix-en-Provence has a long and illustrious history. The first meeting was held 32 years ago, and IES-Europe has been a partner since its creation in 1989. The topic for this year is “Markets and Morality”.

International Policy Network , in collaboration with the Atlas Economic Research Foundation, launched the Freedom to Trade campaign and website on Wednesday, 1 April.
